Doug Inglish
http://www.clmus.com/photography/doug-inglish
After seeing the images of David Beckham for Elle Magazine by Doug Inglish I wanted to know more about this photographer. I had not heard of him before the Elle Shoot but since looking at his work, I am a BIG fan!
The images of the celebrities he has photographed are stunning. They are natural, crisp and simple. They capture moments such as laughter and when they are 'not paying attention'. You tend to not really see images of celebrities like this, these days they are all set up and unnatural, but these seem effortless and natural like Inglish just happened to be there with his camera.

Elle - David Beckham
The Doug Inglish Photographs of David Beckham for Elle magazine are simply beautiful.
This isn't all of the collection but the images are simple and stunning. I suppose when you have David Beckham as your model you know your going to produce some amazing images. I cant stop looking at them, obviously because its Mr DB but because the photography is natural and the post production really finishes them off.
I do not normally read Elle but when I heard about these photographs I went and got a copy, If you have not got your copy yet, GO BUY IT!

Book Review - The Vow
I saw the advert for the film adaptation of this story and I knew straight away that I wanted to read the book before seeing the film as it was based on a true story. I am also a sucker for a romantic story.
My boyfriend Tom went to buy me this and couldn't find it and it turned out that it was in the religion section within Waterstones. At first, I was surprised and a little concerned to whether or not this story was going to be for me as I am not big on religion however, after reading this story, I can understand why God is important to some people, without God, this story wouldn't have been the same.
Most people have heard about Kim and Krickitts story because of the 2012 film starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. I am yet to see it but I imagine that its a great film but I will have enjoyed the book better.
So I finished reading the book yesterday - I couldn't put it down after chapter 4 - I just kept reading and reading, any spare moment and you would find me with the book in my hand.
Two months after they got married they were on their way to Krickitts family and they were in a car crash which left Krickitt with a giant head injury and in a coma for weeks. When she finally woke, she didn't have a clue who Kim was. She didn't have a recollection of any of their relationship. Throughout the period Krickitt began to get better Kim stood by her and kept the vows he had mad to her. through to hardest and darkest of days he stood by her. their shared faith in Christ kept them going and kept them together through the hardest thing they would ever go through.
I had mixed emotions reading this book. I felt sad reading all of the pain and sadness the couple went through but then knowing that everything turned out good at the end made my happy. The one thing I have taken away from reading this is that you should never take the one you love for granted because one second they could be there and the next taken away. It leaves you with the question 'What would you do?' Would you stand by your vows and the one you love? I would like to think that I would stick in there and hold on, but I suppose it is easy to say that until you are in that situation.
At the end, I it leaves you thinking about your own relationships and how you see your own life. It's left me wondering about how I feel about 'God' as well.

Book Review - Lauren Conrad
Lauren Conrad
LA Candy Series
I have just finished reading this series of books and I was pretty sad to find out that there was only 3 books! but after popping into Waterstones to pick a new book I found out that there is a spin off collection 'The Fame Game' that follows one of the sub characters in the LA Candy Series that came out a few months ago. So I added the first book of that new collection into my basket.
The first two books in this collection sat on my bookcase collecting dust for quiet some time until didn't have anything else to read but I cannot believe that I didn't read them sooner! I would recommended the series to any fan of The Hills! Reading, you get an in sight into what it was like behind the scenes on The Hills and you can see that it's a Lauren Conrad book. I can sort of work out who the characters are based on and its just like reading an episode.
The first two books end in cliffhangers which I love because I love the feeling of wanting to read more. My favourite book out of the 3 was the final book, Sugar and Spice and that's only because there were a few moments when you didn't expect things to happen and as it the final book everything came together for the main character Jane.
